The Oakwood Eco Troopers!

The ECO-Troopers are now up and running and are very enthusiastic about the coming year. The children are working on our first assembly of the year and are ready to start projects on the allotment and courtyard.

Last year the school collected ASDA vouchers. We received over an incredible 3,000 vouchers which has meant we have been able to get a special bird box with a camera attached to it. We can therefore watch the birds nesting in the spring. The ECO-Troopers will be helping to set this up in Upper School Courtyard.

We will also be entering a competition to design a poster to show all the things we can do to stop climate change. If you would like to join us in entering this competition, design your poster on plain A4 paper and give to Miss Dean before the 24th October!

Eco Schools
