Accidents or Illness at School
Parents are asked to fill in a form giving an address and a telephone number where they can be contacted should children become ill or have an accident during the school day. It is vital that you provide us with this information and keep it up to date so that we can act in the best interests of your child.Medicines We prefer not to administer medicine at school. If you wish us to do so you must visit the school office to sign a consent form. Medicine should be clearly labelled with your child's name and instructions for administration. Parents should be aware that school will not be be responsible for remembering to give the correct dosage at the appropriate time, although we will do our best. Asthma inhalers should be available to your child at all times. They should be clearly labelled with the child's name and kept in his or her classroom. Again information must be given at the school office and a consent form must be signed. Consent forms for medicine and emergency contact forms are available to download from our online office
